It's hard to believe that she is already 6 months...it feels like just yesterday when we brought her home. Well, maybe like a month or two ago but you get the idea. She is growing up so fast! The past couple months we've been able to see more and more of her personality start to come out. Here are just a few of the highlights:
- This girl loves to smile (most of the time)!
- We have to give Kayla her own washcloth during bathtime or she will steal ours then get upset when we take it back (Gigi, unfortunately, learned this the hard way)
- She loves sweet potatoes, peas, and applesauce but was not a fan of bananas. That could be because it was her first thing to have. We'll definitely try it again!
- When eating, she likes to put the whole spoon in her hand then put it in her mouth. Then she'll suck the food off of her fingers. Messy but effective :)
- She's now sitting up on her very own!
- She'll lift and turn her head to look at the door when we get home and smile when she sees us (even if she is taking a little cat nap).
- She hasn't quite figured out that she shouldn't jump around after eating her breakfast (let's just say it causes quite the spit-up)
